Terms of Service

1. General provisions

These terms of service govern the use of the Apartment Magdalena website (visit-magdalena.com) and the process of arranging an accommodation booking. By using the website you accept these terms.

2. Inquiries and bookings

Through the website you can send a booking inquiry by selecting your desired dates and submitting the form. Submitting an inquiry does not constitute an automatic booking confirmation – a booking is considered confirmed only after mutual confirmation with the host.

3. Prices

The price shown on the website is a starting price per night and includes the tourist tax. The final price depends on the selected dates, number of guests and length of stay, and is confirmed when arranging the booking.

4. Payment

The payment method and schedule are agreed directly with the host when booking. The amount is generally paid upon arrival, unless otherwise agreed.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation terms are agreed individually when confirming the booking and provided to the guest in writing (by email).

6. Check-in and check-out

Check-in and check-out times are arranged directly with the host when booking. Guests are asked to inform us of their estimated arrival time in advance.

7. House rules

The number of guests must not exceed the reported capacity of the apartment agreed upon booking. Guests are required to treat the apartment's furnishings, garden and pool with care.

8. Liability

The host is not liable for any damage, loss or theft of guests' personal belongings during their stay, nor for events of force majeure affecting the booking.

9. Website content

Texts, photographs and other content on this website are the property of Apartment Magdalena or are used with appropriate permission, and may not be used without prior consent.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Croatian law. Any disputes will be resolved amicably, or otherwise before the competent court in the Republic of Croatia.

We had a wonderful stay here. The place was spotlessly clean, both inside and out, and the area around the pool was lovely for relaxing. The hosts were incredibly welcoming – they even brought us fresh pancakes and vegetables from their garden, which was such a nice gesture. Everything matched the listing description perfectly. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the apartment was a real pleasure. The apartment is very spacious, the bedrooms are large and have really comfortable beds. The place had everything we needed. The pool is a great feature; it's large and offers complete privacy. Ivan and his parents create a real family atmosphere; they are very welcoming and friendly. Thanks for a great holiday :)

Fantastic villa. On arrival we were greeted by Ivan's parents, who were lovely. A beautiful platter of meats on arrival, drinks and pancakes with Nutella, all from his parents. I couldn't fault anything, the villa was as described, possibly even better. We loved the pool, the space and the privacy. It was an amazing family holiday, a 10-minute walk to the supermarket, and the café, bar and main restaurant were a 20-minute walk away. Most evenings we had fantastic meals and cocktails with a sea view. I highly recommend this place, and communication with Ivan was fantastic. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back. Thank you, Ivan, and thank you to your parents for everything. Best wishes!

We had a wonderful stay at Ivan's place. The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and exactly as shown in the photos. We especially loved the comfortable beds and the fantastic pool area. Even more impressive was the outstanding hospitality. On arrival we received a warm welcome and were even surprised with a delicious platter of cured meats, fresh fruit and homemade rakija. On our second-to-last day we were given fresh pancakes, which was a very nice touch. Ivan was available the whole time and immediately helped with any questions. On the day of departure, Ivan and his father even helped us carry our luggage. Although his parents live right next door, it never bothered us – quite the opposite. Thanks to their warmth, we almost felt like part of the family. There were four of us friends and we stayed here for five nights. A place we would book again any time. Thank you for everything!

Amazing place, spotlessly clean, spacious, with a fantastic pool and outdoor area. Ideally located a 25-minute walk from beautiful Kaštel Stari, a 20-minute drive to Trogir, 25 minutes to Split, and 10 minutes to the airport. I didn't meet Ivan in person, but I spoke with him twice and he was in regular contact. His parents were lovely, they never intruded on our privacy, but were so generous with homegrown vegetables/fruit, pancakes and a welcome platter of meat/cheese with their homemade wine. They were so friendly and made sure the pool was clean and ready every day! I would 100% recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again as there are so many places we didn't have time to explore! Thank you so much, we all had a great time. Kerri and family
